2017 CJAG Conference, October 12-13, 2017 @ Valdosta State University
Pre-registration for the 2017 conference may be over but it’s not too late to register and join us on Thursday, October 12 and Friday, October 13 at Valdosta State University. Visit the Conference page (https://cjag.usconferences/) here at cjag.us to register. Faculty and professional conference registration is now $110, while student conference fees remain a very modest $25.
With the storm last week we’ve extended the presentation abstract submission deadline by a few days, but please don’t delay in uploading your abstract to the site. There are only a few spots remaining. Submit your one paragraph abstract using this link: https://cjag.usconference-abstract-submission-portal/.
We’ve got a full agenda (2017 Preliminary CJAG Schedule Revised3) ahead including:
- a four hour P.O.S.T. training event from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 12
- a keynote speech by State Board of Pardons and Parole member, and former Department of Corrections Commissioner, Brian Owens on Thursday afternoon
- social events on campus immediately following Thursday’s conference, and later at our preferred hotel, the Drury Inn and Suites-Valdosta
- a special showing of the new documentary “Released” (see the Released Flyer) followed by a panel discussion of those depicted in the movie on Friday, October 13 at 3:00 p.m.
We hope to see you all in Valdosta in less than one month for our best conference ever!
